Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between FTL and LTL shipping?

It all depends on the size of your shipment!

FTL (Full Truckload):  Ideal for large cargo that fills an entire trailer. You get dedicated space for your goods and potentially faster delivery times.

LTL (Less Than Truckload):  Perfect for smaller shipments that don't require a full trailer. You share space with other shipments but only pay for the space your cargo occupies, making it a cost-effective option.

Are pick-up and delivery dates guaranteed?

We strive to meet all estimated pick-up and delivery dates.  However, unforeseen factors like bad weather, traffic, or mechanical issues can occasionally cause minor delays. We'll keep you informed throughout the process and do our best to get your vehicle to you as close to the estimated date as possible.

What happens if my car is damaged during shipping?

All our carriers are insured up to $1 million. It's crucial to thoroughly inspect your vehicle upon pick-up and delivery. Note any existing damage on the Bill of Lading (BOL). In case of new damage, simply report it to us immediately, and the carrier's insurance will cover the repair costs.

Is cross country car transport door-to-door?

Yes, cross country vehicle shipping is door-to-door, as long as the locations you choose allow it. Alternative pick-up and delivery locations will need to be arranged if the locations are not safe or are illegal. The carrier will arrange a location as close to your door as possible.

How long does it take to ship a car across country?

The time it takes to move a car across country depends on several things. Shipping a car across the US can take from 1-9 calendar days, depending on the distance. Rest assured we do everything we can to ensure your car is shipped swiftly, efficiently, and with no delays.

What is the difference between enclosed and open auto transport?

Open vs enclosed car transport are two very different things. Book open carrier auto transport and your vehicle is transported on an open trailer. The cost is lower but your vehicle is exposed to the elements. It's the preferred method for our customers because it's easy, quick and secure. Enclosed auto transport means your vehicle is protected on all sides for extra protection.
